Step 1
Make a hole slightly (17 cm) deeper than the height of the
applicator and about 25cm longer on each side. Provide a
fairly level base for the unit. |
Step 2
Fit spry pipe to Tick Off unit with two nineteen millimeter
keys. (Long spry pipe on filler pipe side.) |
Step 3
Place the unit in the hole moving it around to make sure it
is bedded well. |
Step 4
Mount extended spry pipe to a tree (pole) 1.8 meter high
and half meter from system, be sure the nozzle is angled
toward the nozzle between the rocks. |

Step 5
Place a rock on each side of the outlets for protection, filler
pipe and breather pipe must stick out of ground. |
Step 6
Cover the unit with a 50mm layer of soil, level with the
surrounding area. Protect the short nozzle between rocks,
angled upward and inward. |
Step 7
Fill the unit with +/- 5 liters of insecticide (unit can hold 20
Liters). Be careful not to get sand and dirt into the unit
although there are built-in filters. |
Step 8
Unscrew both nozzles and step on unit to get all the air out
of pipe`s. |

Step 9
Fit nozzles. Make sure it squirts an uninterrupted stream.
If not, press a few times to get any air out of the pipe`s. If
it runs empty after a while, simply refill and repeat step 8. |
Step 10
Place large thornbush halfway over the unit and cut back
so that strong branches form sides of the pathway. 1 meter
high and 30 meters to a side, in a straight line. |
Step 11
Check that the system’s set correctly. Be sure to check that
the long outlet squirts the insecticide right across to the
short outlet. |
